Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress best well-known for her roles as a character in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters, and Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda, and Voltea pa' que is enamored. Also a dancer, she is also a model. Montreal born, she spent the first few years of her life in Texas. At a very young age, she has learned a range different styles of dancing. When she was 15 she was taking part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame by her appearance on Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant series. Her acting debut came in the year 2010, playing receptionist on an episode of Telemundo's telenovela Aurora. The actress starred in Tattooed Love (2015), an action film. Her performance in the role of Shadowhunter earned her recognition at the Teen Choice Awards in both 2017 and 2018 for the best actress on TV in Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
