Summer Glau is an American actress who is famous for her role as River Tam in the critically loved TV show Firefly and as Cameron in the television series Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Apart from these, she was also on The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow Sequestered. Additionally, she guest-starred Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck Hawaii Five-0. In addition to her appearances on Serenity and Knights of Badassdom she has been featured in numerous TV and short films including Mammoth Sarah, the beginning of Deadly Honeymoon Dead End Help for the Vacations and Inside the Box. Glau was awarded several honors as well as awards up to now. FHM included her twice in its List of 100 Sexiest Women of The World. Glau also made an appearance in the magazine Wizard's Sexiest Women of TV. Maxim also included Glau as an American in its Hot 100. Glau's achievements in acting are highlighted by the SFX Award, which she was awarded for her performance in Serenity. As a tribute to her performance on Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles Glau won the Saturn Award. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She is the youngest child born to Marcela Quintanilla. When Selena aged eighteen, she began a career in a band that was formed by her dad. Selena was the lead guitarist in the band, along with her two siblings Abraham junior and Sister Suzette performing the drums. Selena acted as the singer. Selena Y Los Dino, the band she performed with was known as Selena Y Los Dino. They also performed at wedding fairs as and in eating places. Selena's siblings and she did not have an enjoyable childhood due to the group took up the majority of her space and time. They had a father named Abraham was a great supporter of them by encouraging their determination. Abraham senior was also part of Los Dinos' original band also played guitar. Selena Y Los Dinos were officially established in the year 1981. It was a family's business, and also the principal source of revenue for the family. Although there were tough times at the beginning with little funds, the Quintanilla family persevered and remained focused with their efforts to become a successful band. Their patience would eventually pay back in the mid 1980's as Selena Y Los Dinos gained popularly in the western states. Selena was awarded Female Vocalist and Performer at the Tejano Music Awards in 1986. Selena Y Los Dinos grew in fame and popularity immediately afterward. They appeared on numerous Spanish-language TV shows including El Show De Johnny Canales Always On Sunday and Sabado Gigante.
